During the session of the Scientific and Technical Council of JSC «RZD» the results of V Russian transport problems research works for undergraduates and postgraduates were summed up.

The first place in the category «Passengers’ Carrying» was won by PGUPS’s students Ekaterina Vatulina and Boris Polyakov who conducted research of peculiarities of interaction of a high-speed train and air near railway infrastructure facilities (Research Adviser — Professor Yuri Boronenko, Head of the Department of Railway Car Facilities).

The first place in the category «Vacuum — Levitation Transport Systems» was taken by students Ilya Simonchik and Nadezhda Kuznetsova (Research Adviser — Professor Konstantin Kim, Head of the Department of Theoretical Bases of Electrical Engineering).

Apart from diplomas and certificates, the winners and prizewinners got the opportunity of being put down into Russia’s Railway Science Reserve, the Scientific and Technical Council of JSC «RZD» has been forming two years already. This would make them more sought-after young specialists. In addition, the best works were recommended for UIC Global Research & Innovation Contest.
