Delegation of Shijiazhuang Tiedao University visits PGUPS

On September 7th, 2017 Delegation of Shijiazhuang Tiedao University (STDU) paid visit to Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University. The delegation was headed by Professor Sun Baochen of Structural Monitoring and Control Institute.

Shijiazhuang is a big railway hub in China’s Hebei province, which is situated 280 km away from Beijing. Shijiazhuang underwent significant growth and booming development in 1905, when Beijing-Wuhan Railway Line finally reached the province. Now, the city has a high-speed railway line running through it, and it is therefore often referred to as «a railway city», owing to the city’s life close connection to the railway.

The delegation was met by PGUPS’ administration at Russian-Chinese Transport Institute. PGUPS’ side was represented by Vice-Rector, Dr. Tamila Titova and Vice-Rector Petr Rybin, as well as by other professors from different departments of the university. During the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation issues.

The guests made a presentation «Impact of Negative Temperature on Constructive Elements of Railway Formation and Monitoring of Deformations».

The Chinese delegation visited laboratories of the Universities and Scientific and Technical Library.
