The ceremonial signing of the Agreement on Cooperation between Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University and JSC «RZD» affiliate Central Directorate of traction took place on November 15^th, 2016 during The IV International scientific conference «Locomotives. XXI century».

The Agreement was signed by PGUPS’s Rector Alexander Panychev and Vice-President of JSC «RZD», Head of the Central Directorate of traction Oleg Valinsky.

The Agreement is aimed at developing scientific and technical, technological and staff potential, performing and realising joint scientific developments, interchanging technologies and organising education. The document also includes organising conferences and forums, profession-bound activities, industrial internships, qualification upgrade courses and, of course, promoting engineering heritage.

The first transport university of Russia and one of the key departments of JSC «RZD» are reaching a new level of cooperation.
