Distance learning
Teaching students through the distance learning form is a teaching at a distance where a teacher and a trainee are spatially divided and it is Internet web that unites them. Distance learning is training under an individual plan. Every “distance” student is attached to a teacher whose task is to supervise the learning process and to advise. A strict reporting controls and disciplines and it is on this that the entire system of distance learning at PSTU rests.
With the use of distance learning technologies at PSTU, you could study by correspondence and also complete a course of qualification improvement or a refresher course.
Furthermore, all PSTU students, postgraduate students and teachers have access to the electronic depository of teaching and methodological packages. The electronic depository of teaching and methodological packages is a professional selection of materials on subjects to be learned, making it possible to provide students with a fundamental volume of knowledge even without addressing to other sources and resources. Use of the teaching and methodological packages makes it possible to do the student’s process of learning more effective.
It is the Center of Internet/intranet technologies in teaching (CIITO) that introduces distance learning into the educational process.
