The Russian Language Center carries out work with foreign students along three lines:

testing
short term courses
preparatory department

The Russian Language Center at Petersburg State Transport University offers foreign citizens learning of Russian according to special programs tailored on the basis of the State university standards. Our aim is to help foreign students become proficient in speech habits providing a sound communication in Russian in various areas.

We shall be happy to see you in our Center and we’ll do all the possible that during your stay in St. Petersburg you not only upgrade your Russian but also gain a new ethnocultural experience.

At present, the Russian Language Center have concluded agreements on educational services with:

To process an invitation for entering the Russian Federation it is necessary to send by fax:

a letter in Russian or English indicating the arrival date and your particulars (first name, family name, home address, telephone number for contacts
a photocopy of your national passport (with a note on the fax «для УМС»)
a confirmation of payment for the invitation.

Allocation cost and tuition fee

The price of services is given in conventional units (c.u.): 1 c.u. = 1€ (according to the RF Central Bank rate of exchange as on the day of payment)
