The last excursion for schoolchildren in 2015/2016 school year was held at Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University. Staff of the Faculty of Pre-University Training conducts such excursions within the framework of the career guidance work. Our University is attended by school students from St. Petersburg, Leningrad Region and other regions of Russia.

The last group in this semester consisted of 5th grade students of Grammar School № 363 of the Frunze District of St. Petersburg. Schoolchildren are already interested in professions and universities. Young visitors went around the PGUPS with a great interest; they got acquainted with the history and present state of the first Russian transport university.

Children actively answered the questions of the guide, showing good knowledge in engineering. At the end of excursion, school students came together at the Mendeleev Hall. Despite the fact that the choice of profession is yet to come, schoolchildren actively asked questioned about the University and studies.
