From September 23 to October 8, 2021, the Northwest Directorate of High Speed Communications hosted the training sessions of the WorldSkills Russia National Team for competing in «Technical skills in the field of rail transport».

To participate in the 46^th Worldskills Competition, which will take place on 12-17 October in Shanghai, Evgeny Barashkov, a 4^th year student of the specialty «Technical Operation of Railway Rolling Stock» (St. Petersburg Technical School of Railway Transport), is training as part of the WorldSkills Russia National Team.
