On May 28, 2019, delegation of the Madrid Polytechnic University headed by the director of the Higher Schools of Industrial Engineers, Professor Oscar Garcia Soares and Shipbuilding Professor Louis Ramon Nunez Rivas visited the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University.

Head of the Project Office for the implementation of international programs of PGUPS professor Kisilev I. P met Spanish guests and on behalf of the rector, Alexander Panychev, discussed possible cooperation in joint scientific programs.

Guests visited laboratories and University classrooms, museum of PGUPS. Spanish colleagues were accompanied by one of the organizers of the delegation’s visit, President of the International Public Fund for Culture and Education (St. Petersburg), Popov G.N.

PGUPS and the Madrid Polytechnic University have strong partnership. Both universities participate in the project «Economy, ecology and infrastructure of high-speed rail transport» of the Erasmus + program.
