International seminar Erasmus+ completed in PGUPS

Erasmus+ seminar on international cooperation in the field of higher education and vocational training was held from September 19 to September 27 on the territory of PGUPS, with the participation of universities from Spain, Germany, Poland, Russia and Kazakhstan.

University representatives included in the consortium for the implementation of the Erasmus+ international project «Economics, Ecology and Infrastructure of High-Speed Rail Transport» met at PGUPS to talk about their achievements in the program preparation and implementation and to discuss the issues that arose during the work course.

The Erasmus+ program provides Masters with the opportunity to receive a double degree in high-speed railway systems. The training lasts for two years; students spend three semesters at PGUPS, and one semester at the Technical University of Dresden (TUD), where they are taught in English.

The following universities attended the seminar: Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University (PGUPS), Technical University of Dresden, Polytechnic University of Madrid, University of Economics in Katowice, Far Eastern State Transport University, Ural State Transport University, Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications named after M. Tynyshpaev, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian national university, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University.

In the period from September 19 to 27, there were 12 lectures and discussions with the coordinator to clarify the program content.

As a result of the seminar, the universities included in the consortium approved the prepared training materials.
