An open lecture of an independent expert in the field of civil engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences Andrea Santangelo (Italy), was held at PGUPS. The expert made a presentation about «The current state of Hyperloop technology and the latest hyperloop projects in the world».

Andrea Santangelo has been working in construction field for more than 20 years.

Among his clients are organizations such as the California Department of Transportation, PJSC Gazprom, PJSC Lukoil, Parsons Transportation Group Inc., Royal Dutch Shell, Virgin Hyperloop One and others. Since 2015, Andrea Santangelo has been working on the design of test structures for the Hyperloop high-speed capsule transport system in the USA, UAE and Italy.
