At the beginning of 2016, the group of the PGUPS students started studies in China within a framework of the «double degree» agreement between Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University and Beijing Jiaotong University.

Young people study and live in the branch of Beijing Jiaotong University — new, just opened campus Weihai, located on the shores of the Yellow Sea, in the eastern part of China. Last weekend, our students arranged for their Chinese colleagues a real Russian holiday — Maslenitsa (Pancake Week).

Students will stay in China for two years. They are going to have the language proficiency test after a year of studying Chinese. In case of successful completion of the test, young people will continue studies on a par with Chinese students. Then they will defense thesis in the PGUPS and receive diplomas of the two Universities.
