On June 17, 2019, the delegation of Hubei Institute of Humanities and Sciences with the representatives from Hubei Provincial Government headed by the Head of the Hubei Provincial Committee, Secretary of the City Committee of Xianggyang, Li Lacheng visited the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University.

The Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Public Relations Evgeniy Korovyakovskii, the Head of the Educational Department Tatiana Satsuk, the head of the International Relations Department Yulia Strelchenya, the Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining Evgeniy Chernyaev, the Head of the Project Office for the implementation of international programs Igor Kiselev and University faculty representatives met guests from China in conference hall.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues of teaching Chinese students on the basis of PGUPS under programs of higher and additional education, organization of Russian language pre-university training and summer schools for Chinese students at the Russian Language Center.

After the meeting, there was a University tour for the delegation.
