Plenary session of IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Development of Infrastructure and Logistics Technologies in Transport Systems» (RILTTRANS-2021) was held on October 6, 2021.

On behalf of the country’s oldest transport university, PGUPS Rector Alexander Panychev welcomed the participants. In his welcoming speech, Alexander Panychev pointed out that this year RILTTRANS events are designed to give a consolidated assessment of decisions on the development of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Ust-Luga railway junctions, Russia’s first high-speed railway Moscow — St. Petersburg, and the Northern Latitudinal Railway.

«Our conference is a traditional platform to exchange views and development decisions for the authorities, business, scientists,» said Alexander Yuryevich.

Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Maxim Sokolov made a welcoming speech. He drew participants’ attention to the fact that such events are of great importance for uniting the professional transport community, since an open dialogue allows to discuss the results of the latest technological, practical research, the introduction of innovative technologies.

Presentations were made by Deputy CEO of Russian Railways — Head of the Traction Directorate, PGUPS graduate O.S. Valinsky, Deputy CEO of Russian Railways, CEO of High-Speed Railways O.V. Tony, Head of the Oktyabrskaya Railway V.G. Golomolzin, Head of the Moscow Railway M.O. Glazkov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Transport and Development of Road and Transport Infrastructure of the City of Moscow G.B. Bulatov, Head of the Northern Railway V.F. Tanaev.

At the end of the Plenary session, agreements on cooperation were signed between the University and JSC High-Speed Railways, the Directorate of Railway Stations — a branch of Russian Railways, Murmansk Commercial Seaport, D.I. Mendeleev Institute for Metrology, Specialist Recruitment Center.
