In the course of the ongoing working trip to Armenia, on June 9, 2021, PGUPS representatives — PGUPS Rector A.Yu. Panychev, Head of the project office for PGUPS international programs I.P. Kiselev, and President of the International Public Fund for Culture and Education G.N. Popov — held a meeting with the heads of South Caucasus Railway.

South Caucasus Railway was represented by CEO A.V. Melnikov, First Deputy CEO O.P. Shatalov, Deputy CEO O.V. Shchukin, Head of the professional training department B.G. Poghosyan.

CEO of South Caucasus Railway A.V. Melnikov and Rector of PGUPS A.Yu. Panychev discussed their organizations’ events, the tasks on the agenda, possible areas of cooperation in the field of professional education and professional development for railway workers, as well as in the fields of science and technology.

Priority cooperation projects were identified, on which mutual proposals will be prepared in the near future.
