From November 16 to November 30, 2020, PGUPS held an English online course on intercultural communication for students from GIFT University (Pakistan). 233 students took part in the program.

The training began with introducing the students to the University: the teachers from the Russian Language Center made a presentation about the specifics of living and studying in Russia and conducted a tour of the University.

Lecturers of the Department «Management and Marketing» and the Department «Information and Computing Systems» held several workshops on career guidance in the fields of economics and IT.

The program ended with an online tour around St. Petersburg, where students were introduced to the city’s history and most famous sights.

The students enjoyed the program and expressed their hope of coming to St. Petersburg after the end of the pandemic and taking part in a similar program, but offline.

Next year, similar online programs are planned for students of the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (Spain), Conservatoire national des arts et metiers (France), Technische Universitat Dresden (Germany), etc.
