The Day of Russian Science at Petersburg State Transport University was marked by signing cooperation agreements between the University and the leading companies of the transport industry – OJSC «Lengiprotrans», JSC «Institute «Stroyproekt»» and JSC «Freight One».

Cooperation between the PSTU and OJSC «Lengiprotrans» will be implemented in the field of training and re-training of bachelors, specialists and masters. It is planned to organize the targeted selection of senior students with a view to working in “Lengiprotrans», to develop additional educational programs, etc.

The University and JSC «Institute “Stroyproekt»» will carry out scientific researches in the field of railway and other modes of transport; organize refresher courses, seminars and conferences; publish educational and methodological manuals, monographs; conduct technical expertise, as well as engage in the training of specialists.

The main areas of cooperation between the PSTU and JSC «Freight One»» will be: creation and development of new technical solutions in the field of railway transport, modernization of rolling stock and components; improving the regulatory framework relating to development, operation and maintenance of rolling stock and infrastructure; development of high-quality technical education, etc.
