On March 15^th, 2018 Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University will see the beginning of the International Scientific and Practical Conference «E.Y. Kraskovskiy: Instituter, Teacher, and Rector», dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the birth of Honoured Scientist and Engineer of the RSFSR, Professor Evgeniy Kraskovskiy.

From 1947 until 1955, Evgeniy Kraskovskiy was in charge of F. Dzerzhinskiy Leningrad Railway Vocational College, from 1968 until 1989 he led our university which owing to his hard work became the recognised leader in the transport education sphere of the country.

On March 15^th, 2018 the Column Hall of the university will hold the ceremonial opening of the exhibition, dedicated to Evgeniy Kraskovskiy, as well as the plenary session of the conference.

On March 16^th, 2018 sectional meetings will be held at Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University (9 Moskovskiy Ave.) and Saint Petersburg Railway Vocational College (6 Borodinskaya St.).
