On January 17^th, 2017 Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University was visited by the delegation of Xi’an Railway Vocational and Technical Institute with the Secretary of the Party An Wengzhung in charge.

The delegation was met in the Conference Hall by Rector of the university Mr. Alexander Panychev and members of the academic staff. There they discussed cooperation issues and possibility of expanding the double degree programme. A possibility of arranging cultural student holiday visits to both institutions was also discussed.

The Chinese delegation took an excursion through the university, visited laboratories and The Central Museum of Railway Transport where they were impressed by models of bridges and locomotives of XX century.
