The Institute of Railway Transport Applied Economics and Accounting (IRTAEA, ИПЭБУ) was established in 2005 to solve the problems of optimization at railway transport companies. Today it is the largest methodological center specializing in applied economics, accounting, tax policy, and transport organization management.

Our Institute has a unique experience of cooperation with one of the world’s largest transport companies — JSC «Russian Railways», which allows us to use the latest technologies developed upon this experience.

Our recent research projects include the development of standard report forms based on the results of public technological and price audit of investment projects; analysis of the impact of indicators of infrastructure investment projects on the railway tariff in terms of its infrastructure component; methodological support in the field of financing and budgeting the process of providing passenger transportation services.
