On December 9^th, 2016 Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University and The State Memorial Museum «Saint Isaac’s Cathedral» will jointly conduct the International Scientific Conference «Heritage of Agustin de Betancourt». The Conference will be held under the aegis of Russia’s Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov and Governor of Saint-Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko.

The event is part of the International Scientific and Educational Project «Heritage of Betancourt» jointly initiated by The Technical University of Madrid (Spain) and National School of Bridges and Roads (France) in 2015.

For participation in the Conference the representatives of academic circles of France and Spain were invited who will deliver their speeches on life and work of an outstanding engineer and statesman.
