On November 15 and 16, the Russian University of Transport hosted the VII Forum of the Association of Rectors of Transport Universities of Russia and China.

The event serves as a platform for sharing experience and best practices in the field of transport education development, analyzing the work performed by the Association participants, as well as discussing further cooperation between Russian and Chinese industry educational organizations.

St. Petersburg State University of Railway Transport of Emperor Alexander I was represented by Tamila Semenovna Titova, First Vice-Rector — Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, with a report in the section «Achievements of transport science and technology: new horizons in the scientific sphere».

Representatives of Beijing Transport University, Jilin Railway Vocational Technical Institute, Zhengzhou Vocational Technical Railway Institute, education departments of provinces and cities of China also participated in this large-scale event.

It should be noted that the VII Forum of the Association of Rectors of Transport Universities of Russia and China was held in the context of «Transport Week — 2023», organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. The Forum participants were also able to take part in business and cultural events of the week — the main event of the transportation industry in Russia.

The Association of Rectors of Transport Universities of Russia and China was founded in May 2014 on the initiative of representatives of leading educational institutions of the two countries. At the moment it has 141 members. Forums of the Association are held annually in Russia and China.

The seventh forum was organized by the Russian University of Transport, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the Association of Rectors of Transport Universities of Russia and China and «Eurasia» International Corporation.
