Visa and Migration support
Every foreign citizen who arrives at Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University for study, internship or qualification courses is obliged to come to the Section of Visas and Registrations of the International Relations Department on the next day after their arrival in the Russian Federation and submit the following documents:
- national passport;
- migration card (filled in at the Russian border) with a stamp of crossing the Russian border;
- visa (if the student has one);
- medical insurance certificate;
- 10 photographs (black-and-white, matte, 3×4 cm.).
In case of leaving the Russian Federation and returning to the territory of the Russian Federation, it is necessary to arrive the next day at the Section of Visas and Registrations of the International Relations Department with a passport and a new migration card to reopen migration registration.
If a foreign citizen violates the migration laws of the Russian Federation, they have to pay a fine up to 7 thousand rubles and leave the territory of the Russian Federation.
