The Legal Department protects the rights and legitimate interests of the University.

The Legal Department performs the following functions:

• verification of local regulations’ drafts, including decrees, instructions, other documents;
• preparation and verification of draft agreements;
• analysis of the reasons for non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of contractual obligations;
• preparation of claims and responses to claims;
• representation in order to protect the interests of the University in courts of general jurisdiction and arbitration courts;
• participation in the development of labor contracts;
• legal advice to the employees and students of the University on issues related to the University’s activities.
