From 25 February to 1 March 2019, Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University held a series of masterclasses in academic English on the topic of «Writing Abstracts and Giving Presentations» for undergraduates, postgraduates, young researchers and faculty members.

The classes were conducted by Colin Gregory-Moores, Professor at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (Austria). The masterclasses included input and practice on writing abstracts and giving presentations.

Participants noted the high level of professionalism and expertise of the instructor and the friendly atmosphere in the classroom. These masterclasses certainly help our faculty and staff to suitably present the results of their research at international conferences, in publications indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus, and to improve the global ranking of PGUPS as a research university.

The next series of masterclasses is planned for the end of October 2019.
