PGUPS Commemorates Agustin de Betancourt
Our university has this deep-rooted tradition: on the day of establishment of the university, its representatives lay wreaths at the memorial to the organiser and the first rector of the Institute of the Transport Engineers Corps Agustin de Betancourt as well as at his grave in Saint Alexander Nevsky Lavra.

PGUPS Students and Workers Lay Wreaths at Memorial of Nevsky Pyatachok
On May 3rd, 2017 the workers and the representatives of the student community of the university took part in ceremonial activities near the Memorial of Nevsky Pyatachok, where many students and workers of our university died fighting. Those who perished belonged to the Institute (PGUPS)-formed 10th Battalion. In October 1941, they bravely held positions on the left bank of the Neva, near Nevskaya Dubrovka settlement.

Youth Theatre Festival «Apart-E»: the PGUPS Theater among the Best
Theatre-studio «Prostranstvo Igri» («Playing Space») became the winner of the 6th Inter-Regional Festival of Youth Theaters «Apart-E», which was attended by 13 on-stage performance groups from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Yaroslavl and Obninsk.
