Today our university is hosting the III Conference of the Association of Rectors of Transport Universities BRICS. It brings together more than a hundred participants from Russia, China, India, Ethiopia, UAE, Brazil, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia.

The period for submission of applications for participation is extended until 27.05.2024.

On April 19, 2024, a delegation from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Long, President of the University of Transport and Communications, and Mr. Mai Thanh Phong, President of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, visited Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University.

XXII International Congress «Energy Efficiency. XXI century. Architecture. Engineering. Digitalisation. Ecology. Self-regulation» took place on 16 November 2023 in St. Petersburg. As part of the forum, more than 500 participants discussed the issues of digitalisation of the design and construction industry, ecology, implementation of the latest technologies in engineering systems of buildings and structures.

The plenary session of the V Betancourt International Engineering Forum was dedicated to education as the most important factor of competitiveness in a changing world.

On November 15 and 16, the Russian University of Transport hosted the VII Forum of the Association of Rectors of Transport Universities of Russia and China.

November 9, 2023 was held the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Perspectives and trends of management development in the XXI century in complex economic conditions».

On October 25, 2023 St. Petersburg State University of Railway Transport of Emperor Alexander I was visited by a delegation from Sichuan Province headed by Mr. Zhang Lantao, Deputy Secretary of the Working Committee for Education of the Committee of the Communist Party of Sichuan Province, China.

On May 18 — 19, 2023 an International scientific and practical conference «New technologies in bridge construction. 140 years of the PGUPS Bridges Department» within the framework of the national program of strategic academic leadership «Priority — 2030» will be held in PGUPS.

Emperor Alexander I Saint Petersburg State Transport University invites to the XI International Symposium «Eltrans — 2023. Electrification and electric traction: digital transformation of rail transport», which will be held from May 31 to June 02, 2023.
