On June 20, 2019 delegation of the government of Xi’an (People’s Republic of China) headed by the chairman of the Association of Industry and Commerce of the city of Xi’an, Mr. Wang Huanchang visited the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University.

Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Public Relations Evgeniy Korovyakovskii and the head of the International Relations Department Yulia Strelchenya had a meeting with delegation in conference hall. There was a discussion about the interaction of the PGUPS with the universities of the People’s Republic of China, in particular with the universities of the city of Xi’an. Mr. Wang Huanchang noted the deficit of transport specialists in Xi’an due to the construction of four new metro lines.

After the meeting, there was a University tour for the delegation.
