On July 11, 2019, a delegation from the Sangmenxia Polytechnic University (People's Republic of China) headed by the Chairman of the Board of the University, Tinfo Liu, visited the Emperor Alexander I Petersburg State Transport University.

Negotiations were held at the Russian-Chinese Transport Institute (RCTI) with the participation of Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Public Relations Evgenii K. Koroviakovskii and employees of the International Relations Department. The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation.
