The last meeting of the partners of the  CBC KOLARCTIC project «Arctic Railway Infrastructure in Kolarctic (KO2011 ARINKA II)» was held on October 28, 2021, during a videoconference according to the program proposed by the leading partner SINTEF Narvik, Norway.

The partners made presented on each of the project’s sections:

WP3 — Railway Infrastructure (SINTEF Narvik, Norway);

• Kolarctic Railway Subgrade Safety Guide (Vladimir Paramonov, PGUPS);

WP4 — Railway Operation, Maintenance and Repair practices (Sweden);

• Continuous rail (Andrey Romanov, PGUPS);

WP5 — Railway Monitoring and Sensoring Technology (Finland);

• Monitoring of rolling stock: «On the issue of icing of railway rolling stock in the operating conditions of the Northern Latitudinal Railway» (Yuri Boronenko, PGUPS);

WP2 — Competence Building and Cross-border Experience Transfer (Elena Gorodnova, PGUPS);

• Overview and summary;

WP 1 — Management & Coordination (SINTEF Narvik, Norway).

At the end of the workshop, the partners thanked each other for the interesting and fruitful work and discussed plans for further cooperation within the CBC Kolarctic 2021–2027 program.

In April 2021, the project «Arctic Railway Infrastructure in Kolarctic (KO2011 ARINKA II)» became the project of the month.
