The «National Recognition» ranking is compiled by Univer.EXPERT educational portal, the creators of which see their mission in increasing the openness of Russian higher education by providing up-to-date information for applicants, students and employees of educational institutions.

The main ranking and six subject rankings were compiled based on information about more than 600 universities.

Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University entered the top 100 Russian universities — 2020. In the subject ranking of technical universities, PGUPS took 38th place out of 128.
