In Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University our main focus is the advanced training of highly qualified specialists for the transport and other fields. We combine a wealth of experience in engineering education with fundamentally new approaches to studying.

PGUPS is one of the leaders in training specialists of the future, capable of solving new problems at a new level, skilled in digital logistics and blockchain systems in transport.

Education at PGUPS is aimed at training specialists ready to design, manufacture, maintain modern rolling stock, transport infrastructure facilities of any complexity, automation and communication systems, and to ensure traffic safety.

In 2021, the educational programs of PGUPS entered the first league of the Subject National Aggregate Rating in three enlarged groups of training areas:

• «Civil engineering and construction technologies»,
• «Land transport engineering and technologies»,
• «Information Security».

PGUPS means education for a new generation of specialists with knowledge, skills and abilities to implement the necessary technological breakthrough for the Industry 4.0.
