On April 19, 2024, a delegation from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam headed by Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Long, President of the University of Transport and Communications, and Mr. Mai Thanh Phong, President of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, visited Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University.

Our University was represented by: Acting Rector P.K. Rybin, Acting First Vice-Rector — Vice-Rector for Research A.V. Benin and Head of the International Relations Department Y.V. Strelchenya. The parties discussed actual issues of cooperation with educational organizations of Vietnam.

As a result of the negotiations, parties signed the Agreement in the field of scientific and educational cooperation between PGUPS and the University of Transport and Communications.

After the delegation had an excursion around the University with the Honorary Professor of the University I.P. Kiselev.
