On October 20^th, 2017 Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University signed the Agreement on Scientific and Educational Cooperation with China Railway Engineering Corporation (CREC).

The signers of the Agreement were Rector of PGUPS Mr. Alexander Panychev and CREC President Mr. Wei Guo.

The Agreement stipulates establishment of PGUPS-based research laboratory for working out systems and elaborating equipment of traction electric power supply for high-speed railways with speeds up to 400 km/h in extremely low temperatures.

The parties pointed out positive dynamics of relations between universities and enterprises of the two countries, which fully corresponds to national interests of Russia and China.
