On February 26-28, 2021, another Lotman Seminar was held online in Tartu (Estonia).

Acting head of the Department «Russian and Foreign Languages», professor of PGUPS Ilona Khitarova took part in the seminar.

This year, at the seminar, the Lotman scholarship was awarded, the publications were presented, including collection of works of «Pushkin Readings», compiled within an international project to study the formation of the Russian literary canon.

Yuri Lotman is known as one of the «great humanitarians» of the second half of the 20^th century. He established one of the strongest schools for the study of Russian culture and literature.
