On November 20, a meeting of the Association of Rectors of Transport Universities of Russia and China was held during a videoconference. The videoconference brought together representatives of 62 transport universities from different cities of the two countries.

The meeting was opened by the co-chairman of the Association, President of the Russian University of Transport B.A. Levin. In their speeches, the meeting participants spoke about the activities and development prospects of cooperation between transport universities of Russia and China in the fields of education, science, and culture.

PGUPS rector A.Yu. Panychev presented to the participants a project of the Eurasian network university of high-speed railways. The start of its implementation is scheduled for 2021.

It was announced at the meeting that the seventh forum of the Association, which did not take place this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, is planned for October 2021, Novosibirsk, Russia.
