On February 20, a conference was held in Nevskaya Ratusha administrative and business district of St. Petersburg. The conference was dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Indonesia.

From the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University the conference was attended by the Head of the Academic Mobility Department Yu. A. Dubaeva and 17 PGUPS Indonesian students.

The conference was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Russian Federation, Mr. Mohammad Wahid Supriyadi, Professor of the International Relations Department at the University of Indonesia, Mr. Hariyadi Virawan, Professor of the Humanities Department at the University of Indonesia, Mr. Ahmad Fakhrurororoji, President and Founder of Bukalapak company, Mr. Fajrin Rashid, as well as representatives of the St. Petersburg academic community. The participants summed up and discussed further prospects for bilateral cooperation between Russia and Indonesia.
