On September 5, 2023 Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University was visited by a delegation of East China Transport University headed by Xiao Changchun, Deputy Party Committee of East China Transport University.

From PGUPS side the meeting was held by the first vice-rector — vice-rector for scientific work T.S. Titova. During the meeting the parties discussed the current areas of cooperation, including the possibilities of universities to organize summer and winter schools, the launch of joint educational programs, the result of which will be two diplomas, as well as academic mobility programs for students and teachers.

At the end of the talks, the delegation from the People’s Republic of China was given a tour of the University.
