On December 6^th, 2017 during Transport Week 2017 Exhibition «The Transport of Russia», the signing ceremony took place, during which Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University and JSC «RZD» affiliate Moscow Railway signed the Agreement on Cooperation. Rector of the university Mr. Alexander Panychev and the Head of Moscow Railway Mr. Vladimir Moldaver put their signatures to the agreement, which became the first step on the way to execute the decision made by PGUPS Board of Trustees, who held meeting in the Ministry of Transport under the chairmanship of Minister of Transport Mr. Maksim Sokolov on December 5^th, 2017. One of the issues on the agenda was enhancing efficiency of PGUPS’ affiliates’ performance.

Today, on Moscow Railway, there are 8 PGUPS affiliates. Moscow Railway and the university share the viewpoint that only by joint effort it is possible to improve the quality of training specialists.
