On February 8^th, 2018 Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University and Holding «Sinara-Transport Machines» signed the Agreement on Cooperation.

The agreement was signed by PGUPS’s Rector Alexander Panychev and General Director Viktor Lesh. The signing was held during the ceremonial meeting of the scientific community of Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University on the Day of Russian science in the newly opened Russian Railway Museum.

The agreement stipulates participation of the holding’s specialists in educational process of the university and cooperation in development of cutting-edge methods and technologies of education, including application of technological, personnel and informational resources of partner organisations.

The holding now employs over 20 thousand people. It is constantly growing and expanding, therefore training qualified personnel issue is of high significance for it.

PGUPS at present is the only university in Russia to graduate specialists in HSR operation and construction, and Sinara-Transport Machines is the only company in Russia to manufacture high-speed trains. All this creates beneficial conditions for productive and efficient cooperation.
